    Location & Parking

Near SLU in Midtown, the City Foundry STL is a complex of shops, Fresh Thyme Grocery, and the Food Hall. The Food Hall is an awesome building full of different restaurant stands. Anything you could want from Asian-Fusion tacos to fancy waffles. I also love that they have their own free parking garage, so finding a spot isn’t an issue!

    Vibe & Attire

I would describe the City Foundry STL as an eclectic, industrial space. The Food Hall might bring back memories of your school cafeteria but with waaay better choices. The Kitchen Bar is also a great addition with cool industrial vibes. Wear fun casual attire. There’s also live music sometimes on the weekends so check the calendar on their website.

  • Tacos from Kalbi Taco Shack City Foundry Food Hall St. Louis

    The Food

I got the tacos from Kalbi Taco Shack during my first trip to The Foundry Food Hall and I did not regret it! I tried the sweet and spicy chicken for one and the roasted sweet potato for the other. I really liked the chicken but I LOVED the sweet potato taco. So much flavor and sweetness plus all the spice from the sauce made the perfect taste combination.

    The Drinks

The Boba tea from Kalbi Taco shack was really good! I’m a bubble tea novice so I haven’t tried it other places but I really enjoyed it. If you haven’t tried bubble tea before and are wondering what it tastes like I thought the strawberry had a yogurt-like taste and the boba was like thicker jello balls in the bottom of the cup.

    The Dessert

If you have a sweet tooth The Foundry has lots of choices for you too!. Poptimism has artisan ice pops and ice cream options, plus there’s Patty’s Cheesecakes and Press Waffle Co. (shown here). We got a dessert waffle with strawberries, chocolate, and walnuts. The options are truly endless at the Foundry in St. Louis.

The Kitchen Bar is a big area in the middle of The Food Hall that’s really the centerpiece of the whole building space. Close to the bar is the stage where they have live music so it’s the perfect place to hang out and watch the show!
