Eckert’s Farms
Eckert's Farms now has 5 different locations to enjoy! We visit the Eckerts in Belleville, Illinois because it's near where we live in the Metro East area of St. Louis. They have pick your own fruit and pumpkins in the summer and fall, Christmas trees in the winter as well as many other seasonal events and concerts.
Eckerts also has a brand new Cider Barn where you can taste hard cider flights, have a bite to eat, and listen to musical performances. I highly recommend visiting the Eckert’s nearest you and making at least one trip to the Eckert’s Farm in Belleville for one of their special events or to buy high quality produce and baked goods.

Kids Activities on the Farm
No matter what season it is, Eckerts is fun for the whole family. This photo was taken during the fall festival last year when they had a petting zoo, pony rides (shown), as well as pick your own apples and pumpkins. My boys love visiting Eckerts and always have a blast.
Petting Zoo at Eckerts
My boys love feeding the lambs at the Eckert’s Belleville Farm petting zoo. Every year they have at least one event that includes a petting zoo. My kids love feeding the animals and petting as many as they can.
Hard Cider Flights
My husband and I enjoyed the hard cider flights while my boys got to try the mac n cheese and soft pretzels. There is also a large event space adjacent to the cider barn where they have concerts and other events.
Eckert’s Farm Food
There are so many dining options at Eckerts Belleville location that you’re sure to please everyone. Between the Country Restaurant, the Deli and Bakery, Mr. E’s Custard and Donut shop and the new Cider Shed, you have all your food bases covered. You can also pick your own fruits and veggies on the farm then take them home.

The brand new cider shed at Eckert’s in Belleville is a must visit. Whether you’re looking for a fun date night in the metro east, a girls night out activity, or a family outing, they have something for everyone. Free concerts, great food and drinks while supporting a local small business makes for a great summer activity.

Eckert’s is a great place for family or individual photos near St. Louis with their antique trucks, gorgeous flowers, and aesthetic decor. They always have photo ops at their seasonal events as well and they’re a great location to take family photos near St. Louis.
